Amazon FBA box size and weight standards vary from site to site.
Standards for US and European sites:
Box size: No side may exceed 25 inches (about 63.5 cm) in length.
Box weight: No more than 50 pounds (about 22.7 kg), unless the box contains a large item weighing more than 50 pounds.
For items weighing more than 50 pounds, a label with "Team Lift" must be affixed to the top and sides of the box; for items weighing more than 100 pounds, a label with "Mech Lift" is required.
Boxes containing jewelry or clocks must not exceed 40 pounds (about 18.14 kg). Standards for Japanese sites:
Box size: Standard size does not exceed 50 cm x 60 cm x 50 cm, large size length + width + height < 170 cm, special large size 170 cm < length + width + height < 200 cm, and no more than 90 cm on a single side.
Box weight: A single box must not exceed 40 kg unless it is the manufacturer's original packaging.
For boxes weighing more than 15 kg, a "weight over" label must be affixed on the top and around the sides.
In addition, Amazon also requires that each box on the pallet must be affixed with its own unique Amazon Logistics box number label, and any side of the box must not exceed 25 inches (63.5 cm) in length and the total weight must not exceed 50 pounds (22.7 kg), unless the box contains a single large item whose size and weight exceed these limits. For European sites, the weight of each box must not exceed 23 kg, and boxes weighing between 15 kg and 23 kg must be marked "Team Lift" or "Heavy Package" on the top and sides.
These standards are designed to ensure the efficiency and safety of goods during transportation and warehousing. Sellers should prepare the packaging and labeling of goods according to the requirements of specific sites to avoid additional costs or the risk of rejection.
